Summary[]
Having jumped down from the cliff above, Gintoki assaulted Utsuro and cut down his hat with Nobume's sword. While combating, he soon recognized some familiar features of the opponent. Meanwhile, observing the fight, Okita remarked on how Gintoki was used to Utsuro's sword and questioned if he really knew it.
Soon, Utsuro's mask broke under the other's attack, thus uncovering his face, which greatly resembled Shouyou, much to Gintoki's shock. Taking the advantage, Utsuro attempted to behead him, but Kagura stopped the sword barehanded. Okita then tried to attack him and held his arm.
With Utsuro held temporarily, Gintoki told him to disappear and gave him a huge slash.
