Lesson 326 is the 326th chapter of the Gintama series. It is also the final chapter of the Timeskip Arc. In this Lesson, Shinpachi and Hijikata found themselves lost in a two-year-later world before they realised of something important...

Story[]

The Lesson began with a TV show. The spotlight of this show is Hasegawa, who had become a singer-songwriter. As the scene zoomed out, Shinpachi and Hijikata were found sitting on a street. They talked and comtemplated on how everything had changed after a one-week hiatus, and why they were left aside from the timeskip.

The duo were about to part when a news was announced: Edo was being infected with a parasistic, boil-like alien called "Kyousainetol." In a week, this parasite will make its host become what they wanted to be with their two-year-later appearance. Therefore, 2 years had not passed at all. In order to stop the parasite, the host must be attacked with a paper fan-like object.

As Shinpachi were about to stop the parasite, Kagura appeared and hugged Shinpachi. Hijikata knew it was a trap and was about to hit Kagura with the paper fan when Okita turned up, thus being hit. He told Hijikata about what the latter had done to the Shinsengumi and to Okita himself, while Shinpachi yelled that it was just the boils, not the true Okita speaking.

Otae then came to Hijikata, showing her newborn child, who had the same hair as Hijikata, which implied that he was the child's father. Next, Kondo, Katsura and Kyuubei turned up with thier children (a doll, a gorilla and a male genital, respectively,) attempting to commit suicide. Amidst the chaos, Shinpachi hit all of them (including Hijikata) with his paper fan, knowing that Hijikata was also infected with the boils.

While Shinpachi was excited over his feelings and how he will work hard, he was hit with a paper fan by Gintoki, who stated that Shinpachi was another boil, too.
