Also known as Cat's Ear, Eromes is an Amanto with cat ears. She becomes Shimura Shinpachi's love interest after he presumably saves her from a drunk Matsudaira harassing her on a mass transit. As a thank-you gift, she then buys Shinpachi a cake, cat ears and goes out with him on a date. Later on it's revealed that it was all just a scam set up by Eromes, who is a self-proclaimed phantom thief who steals love, but actually only steals her victim's wallet or valuables. She is the main antagonist of Train Samurai Arc
Eromes is a young woman with a slim silhouette. She has short blue hair that falls down to her neck, a few strands curl up near the sides of her face. She has bangs falling across her forehead at an angle brushing the tops of her eyes. Eromes has large green eyes, a narrow nose and a small mouth. A characteristic feature is her white cat ears, which she hides under a dark orange scarf with the same pattern as her sleeves.
Eromes is dressed in a sleeveless, short pink kimono with red decorations and a few wavy white stripes. In the manga she has symbols, embroidered flowers, and small dark dots instead. A black obi with bells on it is tied around her waist as well as a red cord.
Eromes wears detached yellow orange sleeves with numerous black circles. The sleeves span from wrist to shoulder. She has thigh high white stockings and usually wears traditional black sandals with red straps.
Pretentiously adorable, with affected pseudo kitty mannerisms such as beckoning cat's paw. Even her name "Eromes" was improvised on the spot from a love hotel's name, and is not her real name.
Eromes was supposedly witnessed by Shimura Shinpachi being harassed by a drunk Matsudaira Katakuriko on a train. Shinpachi saved her, and was smitten by her kitty affectations. Thereafter they proceeded to go on a date, and dropped by a love hotel with the name "Eromes House", where she made off with Shinpachi's valuables while he was in the shower. However, in spite of her taunting him for his naivete, Shinpachi was not angered by her misdeed, or so he claimed.
- The character is a spoof of another manga/anime series called Cat's eye (キャッツ♥アイ), whose female characters also use a signature, but with cat eyes instead.
