Plot[]

The Yoruzuya reach Kabukicho but were attacked by Otae and the other residents. The trio try to enter Kabukicho with the help of Tetsuko, Agomi, Kyoushirou, Saigo and Kozenigata, but fall into all their traps set up to foil their enemies' pursuit. However, the leader of the Dakini tribe, Ougai, arrives and smashes through Kabukicho's metal barriers with one strike. Meanwhile, the Oniwabanshuu and Shinsengumi are overwhelmed by the sheer number of army soldiers.

The army march into Kabukicho and the Dakini warriors pass through the traps easily. Gintoki and Saigou fight back to back. Saigou tells Gintoki that he believes in a miracle that will let them all survive. In a building, Tae helps the cabaret girls escape but is ambushed by Dakini warriors. Kyuubei rescues her and the pair run off together. Kyuubei tells Tae that she has made the decision long ago to protect not just Tae's life but her smile as well, and she has to do so by protecting the planet that Tae loves. They find themselves cornered by more Dakini warriors, but Binbokusai and the Yagyuu Elite Four cut them down.

The army soldiers split up to surround the town but the Yagyuu family and the volunteers they have recruited show up to attack. Ougai defeats the Yagyuu Elite Four, and Kyuubei and Gintoki attack him. He chatises them for treating the battlefield like a playground and for bringing women and children into the war. Kyuubei replies that war is an act that affects men, women and children equally. They run into an alleyway, where Tae and the other cabaret girls have stayed behind to throw logs from above, to prove to him what women and children are capable of. Kyuubei, Gintoki, Kagura and Shinpachi fight Ougai simultaneously, who taunts them for their weak attacks. He kicks Gintoki away, but sees that his leg has been hit by multiple kunai. Tsukuyo and the Hyakka throw at the Dakini warriors a rain of kunai. Ougai blocks most of the attacks but a final kunai breaks his horn and pierces his forehead, causing him to fall over.
