SAKAMOTO VOICE ACTOR FOR GINTAMA 2017?
Has anyone noticed that Sakamoto's voice was not of his regular voice? Like I don't know at the moment and I just need confirmation. I also noticed it with Mutsu and Umibozu. Can someone please clear this up?
"Japanese voice actors dubbing in other anime" information in trivia?
Is it any point for writing in the Trivia sections that a character's Japanese voice actor voices characters from other anime? Most of the Trivia sections from other anime that I happened to read don't have that kind of information. I mean, you can go to Wikipedia to see which characters are voiced by the respective voice actor. I just said my opinion.
Gintama (2015) Episode 41 - The Crows Caw After The Battle Ends
That went surprisingly fast. Looks like they plan to finish the arc next week... Was expecting it to be over this week, but oh well. Either way, the episode was pretty good, but last weeks was way better IMO. Still a really great episode and one of my favorites in the SA arc.

A little bit more of Kamui vs. Kagura. Poor Kagura couldn't stand up to Kamui. He's too beastly!

Here I will be keeping track of my standards and the format I want to have each page be in.
FACT-based information. As few opinions as possible. Concise, easy-to-read. Precise vocabulary, used correctly.
Cutting out the redundant, the inane, streamlining, grammar checking.
Do not reference a source when a citation could be used instead. Cite only manga chapters, Sorachi's Question Corner answers, Ginpachi-sensei segments, and the Yorozuya Be Forever movie, as the last one was written by Sorachi and can be considered canon.
Character page format should follow thus:
- Character name (title)
- About (brief, details their current role in the story, perhaps roles held prior in the story)
- Appearance (list standard outfit + standard outfits of significant b…

Basically, I'm going to keep a list of some of the more horrendous things I've read on this wiki, before I delete them all, to save them for posterity.

- The entire deal with having a "Love Interests" section - gintama is not romance-focused, and never has been; there is no need for this.

Yeah. Copying the entire gintoki page onto google docs and just. fixing it all. The gintama wiki has long been notorious for being terribly written, badly organized, and biased; let's see if I can't fix that.
Kagura's clothes
Hello, I am new here so I didn't know where else to ask this question. I don't know how to use chat so I am asking here. Does anybody know what Kagura is wearing under her pink coat? For example, in episode 250. It shows she has shirt but what about the lower part? If I remember corectly, she didnt had any clothes that were short enough to be under the coat. Even if it was a dress. Is she wearing shorts? But it's winter. Or they didn't think about that and just wanted to creat the cute winter clothes thing? It's been bugging me for awhile. Please answer me if you have any ideas. Thank you.

Need assitance for Character profiles
Gooday. Like people have said earlier, This Gintama wiki needs a lot more love and improvement both with information and other aspects. I am doing my best with the time I have but it would really be great if someone else could also help out a bit at least once per day or something. This is of course just a wishful reguest of mine but if there is some character profiles that you have the urge to put in more information about that would be a great help.
But remember, this is all just voluntary works but since this is a global wiki for the entire world, It its pretty cool that we are the ones that can give fans the information that they want to know about the series and characters in details
This wiki is needing some love
Lets get it started. So, first things first: I just created this because I can see that a lot of things are missing in this wikia and maybe the editors are almost not active here or are having problems to edit or don't have much time for it.
From someone that always was looking information on wikis like fairytail, bleach. type moon, hunterxhunter and recently nanatsu no taizai, I see that a lot of information is missing or spreaded and not organized. Gintama is an incredible manga and have awesome anime series, would love to see some love for editing in this wikia and if I could do myself I would say YES without thinking twice. Yello, due to the lack of images on this wikia, I am going to take requests, providing you with images of the anime. Please state what episode and scene you want me to take images of.
If you want a gif, please have the episode, and the time stamp, and the gif has to be no more than 15 seconds long.
Note: Season 5 has a better resoulution, I will be upgrading character images when I have the time to.

Admins, or...?
I was looking up some pages and I noticed that the characters names aren't romanized properly. Gintoki's page is written the Japanese way (Last First) While Shinpachi's name is written the english way (First Last). What wasy is prefered? Also, some charcters have the japanese in the page's title, for some reason.
Not that it matters, but I think it would look alot better if there was just the romanized version of thir names with the English word order. None of the admins seem to have edited in a while, so..
Deleting birthday pages
Is it okay if I delete the characters' birthday pages? They are really unnesscesary, since they have nothing but the birthday of the characters. As of the Zodiac signs' page, we can link the characters straight to their own page. :/

This wikia seems odd? i mean on kaminomi.wikia.com we have a ranking. We get points by editing, tagging categories etc. Is it our wikia different or all other wikia's have rankings except this one.

Japanese-style emoticons aka 顔文字 kao monji have been introduced on this wikia.
However, these can only be used in the Forums, check out Forum:Test5 and see if you can understand what those 'faces' are trying to convey.

Repeat Telecast?!?
It is one of those news that make people go "Huh?!?!"
TV Tokyo announced on 15 Mar that starting 5 Apr 2010, 「よりぬき銀魂さん」 aka 'The Best of Gintama-san' will be broadcast every Monday 18：00～18：30 hours, or to be more precise, they announced that "they can't possibly be doing a repeat telecast!!?"

It has been confirmed that another artiste group, DOES, will be performing the Benizakura Movie Theme at the Gintama Spring Festival 銀魂春祭り2010(仮) on 25 March 2010. For more info on this event, please refer to earlier news post.
At the Benizakura Movie Official Website, eagle-eyed viewers will notice that Kamui 神威 is shown in the background of the main page, though in the anime series, he does not appear in the original Benizakura Chapter. Kamui's seiyuu 日野 聡 Hino Satoshi is also listed as among the cast members.

Gintama Spring Festival 銀魂春祭り2010(仮), scheduled for 25 March 2010 (Thursday), is a live-action event to be held at Ryoukoku Kokugikan 両国国技館, Tokyo (this venue is traditionally used for sumo-wrestling matches).
Cast involved in this event include the following:

Folks have been asking, so I thought I would clarify it in a news post.
The Chibi desk calendar will only be on sale near end of Nov 2009 onwards, preview available here.

Today, 31 August, it is sitting pretty at number 50 (yes, page 5) of the Google Search. It will probably change with time, but hopefully, the ranking won't slide too low :).
